Paul Williams is GMAC Mortgage’s director of loan modifications for the firm’s non-conforming owned portfolio. He is responsible for the policies and processes related to both the Treasury’s HomeAffordable Modification Program, as well as GMAC’s proprietary modification achievement and performance. Since this spring, Paul and his team have been focusing on implementing the Treasury’s HomeAffordable Modification Program.
Since joining the organization in 1999, Paul has worked in Loss Mitigation as Program Manager for the GMAC’s HOPE / Key Chain Alliance organization, where he was responsible to defining and developing the public-private business model and expanding GMAC’s local presence to 10 cities nationwide. Prior to that, Paul served as a loss mitigation manager for GMAC and as a customer service manager for Capstead, Inc.
