Terry Ross started his career as a mortgage servicer with Fidelity Bond and Mortgage in Philadelphia in collections and foreclosures. After leaving Fidelity Bond, Mr. Ross worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for 22 years.
During his tenure with VA Mr. Ross worked in the Loan Guaranty Division, which handles collections, loss mitigation, foreclosure and claims. Mr. Ross was the expert VA witness for equity skimming and fraud cases and testified in Federal court on VA procedures for claims and foreclosure.
Mr. Ross left the VA in 1997 and is currently employed for the Texas law firm of Barrett Burke Wilson Castle Daffin & Frappier, L.L.P. as the Director Regulatory Compliance. Mr. Ross has written articles on HUD and VA servicing, foreclosure, loss mitigation and claims for various industry publications. Mr. Ross is the Chair of the Education Committee for USFN, member of the AFN OnSite Educational Training Committee, co-chair on the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association Servicing Committee, a member of the Business Advisory Council for Brookhaven Community College Dallas and training coordinator at Barrett Burke.
