The world of investment advisory—whether in the major wirehouses, regional brokerages, private banking, bank brokerage divisions, independent firms or RIAs—has seen an exponential rise in the number of women who have flooded into the industry in the last two decades. However, as a percentage of the advisory population, that figure is still somewhat small. Roughly 25% of advisors are women, a far smaller number than women’s representation in other professions.
Right now women are now reaching the upper echelons of management and becoming superstars in their own right. This forum provides both a networking opportunity and an educational venue for high-ranking women advisors to gather, plan and discuss the profession and their ever-growing influence.
