Kris Berry is vice president – Creative Services at State Farm Insurance Corporate Headquarters in Bloomington, Illinois. The Creative Services department provides creative thinking, design, and media expertise for State Farm.
Kris joined State Farm in 1979 as an accounting supervisor in the Tempe, Arizona regional office. After progressing through leadership positions in finance, she moved into operations as a division manager with responsibility for automobile claims and underwriting in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee regional office. In 2001, Kris was named assistant vice president for Property and Casualty Underwriting in State Farm Corporate Headquarters. Two years later, she joined the Pacific Northwest zone as vice president – operations with responsibility for automobile and personal lines underwriting for six states. Kris assumed her current position in Creative Services in 2008.
Kris is a graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She obtained both the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Chartered Life Underwriter designations. Kris and her husband, Doug, are proud parents of three teenagers.
